Welcome to Brain Path Skills!

A supportive learning space dedicated to helping children, teens, parents, and educators build stronger executive functioning skills for everyday success.

At Brain Path Skills, we believe that success is not only about intelligence or talent. Many learners struggle because they need support with essential life skills like focus, planning, emotional regulation, organization, memory, and follow-through. These are called executive functioning skills, the brain-based skills that help us manage daily tasks, emotions, learning, and responsibilities.

Founded by Rosy Bonesteel, Brain Path Skills was created to provide practical, encouraging, and easy-to-understand resources that help learners grow with confidence. Through engaging blogs, workbooks, activities, courses, and tools, we make executive functioning development accessible for ages 6–18 and beyond.

Our blog content is designed to give parents, teachers, and learners real-world strategies grounded in executive functioning research and everyday experiences.

Topics include:

  • Task Initiation & Motivation

  • Planning & Time Management

  • Working Memory & Organization

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Focus & Attention

  • Follow-Through & Persistence

  • Growth Mindset & Self-Monitoring

  • Future Planning & Independence

Inspired by evidence-informed strategies and practical coaching approaches, our mission is simple:
